Prolific 2023 QB Justin Johnson ready to win at Army
Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer quarterback Justin Johnson has found home at Army. Johnson fell in love with Army on his recent visit. The coaching staff quickly made it apparent that Johnson was the quarterback that they wanted in the class of 2023.
“I’m very thankful because not a lot of schools pulled the trigger on me because of my height,” Johnson told On3. “For them to pull the trigger on me, I’m very grateful and I won’t disappoint.”
Johnson was also intrigued by the post-college career opportunities that come with attending Army.
“Most schools once you get done, you have to pay it back,” Johnson said. “At Army, when you get done with school, they’re paying you.”
The dual-threat Johnson has put up big numbers in his three years of playing high school football in the state of Georgia.

“It’s not just the triple option, they throw the ball around some, so if you that’s what they want to run then go ahead,” Johnson said. “I’m just trying to win at the end of the day. I want to put the program on a higher pedestal than what it is.”
