Clemson running back enters transfer portal
CLEMSON — For the second time in two days a Clemson players has entered the transfer portal.
Tigers backup running back Michel Dukes entered the portal on Tuesday, a source confirmed to ClemsonSports.com.
Dukes joins safety Joseph Charleston, who entered the portal on Monday. Clemson also lost running back Lyn-J Dixon to the transfer portal earlier this season.
Dukes has only appeared in one game this season. He had 2 carries for 7 yards and 1 reception for 3 yards in a win over SC State.

It was expected that his role would increase when Dixon entered the transfer portal, but that did not take place as Kobe Pace and Phil Mafah have carried the load at running back.
Dukes appeared in 10 games as a freshman in 2019 and eight games as a sophomore last season. He ends his Clemson career with 42 carries for 212 yards and two touchdowns.
