“I’m very versatile at my size, able to rebound, block shots, and get downhill,” Maluk told On3 in a previous interview. “I can create for others and myself. I’ve gotten stronger, rebounding the ball and off the dribble. It’s also helped in the paint with my post-ups. I watch a lot of Joel Embiid, how he is nifty with his post-ups, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, how he gets downhill and uses his euro.”
Maluk Scouting Report
Alier Maluk has an intriguing frame. Good size and he moves very fluidly. Was impressed with how he attacked traffic rebounds with two hands, showed some toughness. He will need some strength in his base as he got pushed off his spots. But he had touch around the basket and knocked down a catch-and-shoot middie. A lot of tools, still figuring it all out, but there are some good things there. – On3’s Jamie Shaw
