2024 RB J'Marion Burnette commits to Houston
Andalusia (Ala.) three-star running back J’Marion Burnette has committed to the Houston Cougars.
The 6-foot-1, 230-pounder chose the Cougars following his decommitment from Auburn on November 2.
Burnette is the No. 648 overall prospect and No. 53 RB in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 33 player in Alabama.
Burnette is the 17th member of Houston’s 2024 recruiting class. He slots in as the fourth highest-ranked member of the group.

Bellaire (Texas) Shadow Creek three-star safety Maurice Williams headlines the class for Houston, having committed in June. New Orleans Holy Cross three-star wide receiver Koby Young chose the Cougars on National Signing Day in December.
Houston currently ranks No. 61 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 14 in the Big 12.
