2023 DL Anthony Cunningham commits to Iowa State
Belleville (Ill.) Belleville-East defensive lineman Anthony Cunningham has committed to Iowa State, announcing the news Tuesday on social media.
The commitment comes after a weekend visit to Ames, Iowa, this past weekend.
“I want to thank my coaches and everyone who supported me through this journey,” Cunningham said on Twitter. “I out in so much work and stayed with it from the beginning to the end.”

He is the third commit in the Cyclones recruiting class after Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas three-star defensive lineman Jason Hammond and Nevada (Iowa) tight end Carson Rhodes.
Hammond is the No. 821 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
