Kentucky lands Three-Star SG Joey Hart, former UCF commit
Joey Hart, a three-star shooting guard in the class of 2023 has committed to Kentucky, he told On3.
The 6-foot-5 senior out of Linton (Ind.) Stockton decommitted from UCF last month. Hart also received offers from Toledo, Ball State, Western Kentucky, Bowling Green, Northwestern, and others.

Hart becomes the seventh member of a loaded incoming No. 1 ranked recruiting class. He joins five-star small forward Justin Edwards (No. 2), five-star center Aaron Bradshaw (No. 4), five-star combo guard DJ Wagner (No. 7), four-star shooting guard Robert Dillingham (No. 15), four-star combo guard Reed Sheppard (No. 36), and three-star small forward Jordan Burks (No. 172).
Hart is the No. 268 overall prospect and No. 61 shooting guard in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 9 player in Indiana.
