4-star RB Javin Simpkins schedules official visit to Louisville
Miami Norland four-star running back Javin Simpkins has scheduled an official visit to Louisville for June 17-19.
He is the No. 319 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
The Cardinals are one of his top five schools along with Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Texas and UCF.
Simpkins told On3’s Jeremy Johnson that those five schools have made him feel like a priority.
“I like how they use the running backs in their games,” Simpkins said. “I like the coaching staff for all these programs. A big factor in my decision is where I feel most at home and where I feel I have a great relationship with all the coaches. Also, I’ll be paying attention to the scheme in which I’ll be used in. I love the scheme in all these programs and the coaches. They all treat me like I’m family.”
