As a recruit, he was a four-star prospect out of Lewisville (TX) High School in the 2022 class. He ranked as the No. 609 overall player and No. 42 running back in the cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Martinez had an extra year of eligibility to use if he wanted, but it appears his sights are already set on the next level. The 2025 NFL Draft is set to begin April 24.
