On3 4-star DL Caleb Bryant commits to Mississippi State

Vicksburg (Miss.) four-star defensive lineman Caleb Bryant has committed to Mississippi State, he announced on Monday.

Bryant is the No. 497 overall prospect and No. 52 defensive lineman in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also a three-star recruit and the No. 8 player in Mississippi.

On3 rates Bryant higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Even though he is not ranked in the 2023 On300, he is a four-star recruit, the No. 38 defensive lineman and No. 6 player in Mississippi.

The 6-foot-2.5, 250-pounder was previously committed to Utah. He backed off his pledge to the Utes on Aug. 20.

Bryant has an On3 NIL Valuation of $11.3K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
