Oklahoma State quarterback Maealiuaki Smith is entering the NCAA transfer portal, he told ESPN’s Pete Thamel. He started in two games last season for the Cowboys.
During his limited action at Oklahoma State, Smith went 44-of-74 passing for 489 yards with two touchdowns and four interceptions. He also ran for a score.

The Cowboys battled in a shootout and Smith kept them close down the stretch, even though the team ultimately fell 56-48. Still, Smith threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing one pick. He ran for another touchdown in the contest.
