2025 4-star DL Matthew Johnson commits to Oregon
Concord (Calif.) De La Salle four-star defensive lineman Matthew Johnson has committed to Oregon.
He chose the Ducks while also holding offers from the likes of Notre Dame, Michigan, Miami and Texas A&M.
Johnson is the No. 338 overall prospect and No. 37 DL in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 27 player in California.

After visiting last year, Johnson returned to Eugene for a Junior Day visit this February. Other programs pursued the 6-foot-5, 215-pounder, but he’s now the latest blue-chip prospect on the defensive front to pledge to Dan Lanning and Co.
