2024 DL Ty Yuhas commits to Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh Central Catholic defensive lineman Ty Yuhas has announced his commitment to Pittsburgh. He chose the Panthers over an offer from Kent State.
Yuhas is not ranked in the 2024 On3 Consensus or the 2024 On300. He is 6-foot-3 and weighs 250 pounds.
Head coach Pat Narduzzi and his staff now have commitments from four players in Pittsburgh’s 2024 recruiting class. They are Yuhas, York (Penn.) Central York running back Juelz Goff, Melbourne (Fla.) Cocoa four-star wide receiver DayDay Farmer and Philadelphia Imhotep Institute three-star defensive lineman Jahsear Whittington.

Meanwhile, the Panthers’ 2023 class contained 19 pledges. It ranked No. 53 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 8 in the ACC. Pittsburgh’s group was led by Hampton (Va.) Phoebus four-star linebacker Jordan Bass, the No. 48 overall prospect in the 2023 On300.
Before his commitment, Yuhas took a visit to Penn State. He saw the Nittany Lions on July 28.
