4-star defensive lineman Micah Carter commits to Purdue
Louisville (Ky.) St. Xavier four-star defensive lineman Micah Carter has committed to Purdue, he announced on social media Tuesday.
Carter is the No. 399 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The Louisville native is also the second-ranked player from the state of Kentucky.
He is the fourth player to commit to the Boilermakers in the past two days along with Nashville Father Ryan three-star defensive lineman Drake Carlson, Winter Park (Fla.) wide receiver Zion Gunn and Wylie (Texas) Wylie East running back Terrell Washington Jr.
The Boilermakers are ranked 24th in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking, headlined by Baton Rouge (La.) Woodlawn four-star quarterback Rickie Collins.
