2025 safety Joseph Smith commits to Utah
Spring (Texas) Legacy the School of Sport Sciences safety and 2025 recruit Joseph Smith has announced that he is committed to Utah.
On3 does not rank or grade players prior to their sophomore season. Therefore, Smith does not have a ranking in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Smith currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $5.7k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
He is the first 2025 commit for the Utes. Utah’s 2023 group ranks 32nd in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.
