3-star EDGE Camden Hardy commits to Wake Forest
Jacksonville (Fla.) Atlantic Coast three-star EDGE Camden Hardy announced his commitment to Wake Forest on Tuesday. He chose the Demon Deacons over offers from Duke and Illinois among others.
Hardy is the No. 624 overall prospect and No. 38 EDGE in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 92 player in Florida.
“First off, I would like to thank God for putting me in the situation to be able to make a decision like this,” Hardy wrote in a statement posted to Twitter. “…Lastly I want to thank all my coaches, from the T-ball and flag football days, all the way to the Friday Night Lights. With all that being said, I am excited to announce that I will be furthering my football and academic career at Wake Forest University. Go Deacs!”
