3-star WR Elijah Caldwell decommits from West Virginia
Rock Hill (S.C.) Northwestern three-star receiver Elijah Caldwell has decommitted from West Virginia.
“After praying and speaking about my decision with my family and coaches, I have decided to de-commit from West Virginia University and explore my options. My recruitment is now open,” Caldwell tweeted Monday afternoon. “I would like to thank Coach Brown and Coach Washington for believing in me and giving me a chance.”

Caldwell is the No. 896 overall prospect and No. 135 receiver in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 14 player in South Carolina.
