Alabama High School Football: Rush Propst leads Coosa Christian to 2A title
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- For the eighth time in his high school coaching career, Rush Propst is a state champion.
The polarizing figure guided the Conquerors from down 22-14 in the fourth quarter to lead Coosa Christian to a 29-22 victory over Lanett for Alabama high school football’s Class 2A state championship at Protective Stadium on Friday night.

Perhaps best known for his run at Hoover(Ala.) where he won five state championships from 1999-2007, Propst owns a 308-119 overall record all-time as a high school head football coach with seven state championships (5 at Hoover, 2 at Colquitt County).
