Brendan Sorsby Injunction Hearing

We are on site and almost in the building for Brendan Sorsby’s temporary injunction hearing here at the Lubbock County Courthouse. Expect to hear from myself and @L. Selph as we keep you updated on the happenings from inside the courtroom.

Unless we are able to use our billions (me and Cody I guess) behind the scenes, I think its naive to feel positive about the outcome. I hope I'm wrong.

@J. Ramirez , is this thing going to likely be settled today, or is there a chance the Judge will take a day or two to make his ruling?

I am seated right behind the NCAA’s representatives today, Thomas J. Williams and Julia Peebles. Williams is the two-time UT grad, Peebles is a TCU alumna and UH law school grad.

I don’t believe we’ll have resolution today but who knows.

Like I said in another thread the NCAA stated in court documents there was zero integrity issues. That is a very good thing for Brendan. They are saying there was no harm to the game, but we still want to issue a lifetime ban to a non-employee. They are stating in court documents they suffered no harm and they want to punish him for not causing any harm. Their ban would then cause major harm to him.

I think that’d be frowned upon in the courtroom
