His ranking is off for sure. The reclass ranking doesnt really reflect his talent. I love his HS tape though.

I really believe we are at the beginning of a self sustaining super cycle on offense. Great running backs make it easier to attract great OL and visa versa.

This class is as strong as I’ve seen at tailback (that appropriately FITS THE SCHEME of what our staff is implementing) in a very long time. It’s so refreshing to know we have a staff that has a plan and is putting the proper pieces in place to execute it. OL recruiting is on a level I haven’t seen since I’ve followed recruiting. Keep it rolling AG and Co!!

Last few years, you wrote the "how strong are Auburn's commitments article" on a scale of 1 - 10. 1) Plan on doing those again? I loved those personally 2) The logic with the old staff was outta the blue commitments made you nervous - does that apply to the new staff in your mind?

Caddy / Brown / Jacobs / Smith - that backfield did some damage!

I was 100% convinced he was going to be the next Kerryon for us, his HS tape was great & he was used in the slot a lot like Kerryon was... Idk how he didn't pan out he was super talented.

He really could’ve been a high 4 is he didn’t reclass. Omar, MJC, Davenport, and Miles is LETHAL for the future.

No doubt. We won't ever see that again with the portal and NIL. Would love for someone to interview Jacobs to find out his thought process for choosing AU with Caddy and Ronnie here.

Jacobs was a JUCO from the 2003 class, Caddy being injured likely played a factor in him choosing AU. (remember we had to rely on Tre Smith a good bit due to those injuries)

He followed Gus to UCF and never really made much out of it. He ran for 309 his first year there and played sparingly after that
