Josh Griffis no longer with FSU according to Seminoles
Josh Griffis, the highly-touted pass rusher who committed to Florida before ultimately choosing to go with Florida State, is no longer with the team according to a Seminoles’ spokesperson.
It isn’t immediately clear why Griffis– who played in seven games as a true freshman last season recording four tackles and a tackle for loss–has parted ways with the ‘Noles program. Multiple reporters noted Griffis was at practice during the start of preseason camp, but his stock began to fall as snaps weren’t coming his way as often. Florida State has a slew of talent at the position, but everything is speculation until head coach Mike Norvell makes a statement.
