South Carolina transfer Zachary Davis commits to Memphis

South Carolina transfer guard Zachary Davis has committed to Memphis out of the NCAA Transfer Portal, according to multiple reports.

Davis started 19 of his 32 games last season, averaging 8.2 points on 38.2% shooting while adding 4.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 2024-25.

The 6-foot-7, 200-pound Davis was one of the Gamecocks’ best defenders over the past two seasons in Columbia, starting 36 of his 65 games during that span. He also started two games as a freshman and finishes his South Carolina career averaging 5.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

A native of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Davis joined the Gamecocks program as a three-star recruit out of Denmark-Olar in the class of 2022, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.
