WATCH: Bobby Portis tries breaking glasses in frustration after foul call
After a foul call during Game 7 against the Celtics, Bobby Portis walked to Milwaukee’s bench and snapped his glasses in frustration. The moment was captured by cameras in the arena after Portis was substituted out of the game following a foul by him on Jaylen Brown which resulted in a made layup and a free throw. Earlier on the same possession Wesley Matthews committed a foul for the Bucks as well, causing the frustration to boil over for Portis.
Bobby Portis breaks own glasses
While the glasses aren’t medically necessary for Portis, the moment certainly showed how high emotions are for everybody involved in the elimination game. Portis began wearing the protective glasses after an injury he suffered in the first round against the Chicago Bulls. In Game 2 of that series, Portis suffered a painful-looking eye injury that resulted in blood coming out from around his right eye.
