Xavier Worthy injury update: Chiefs reveal official decision on WR
Kansas City Chiefs reveiver Xavier Worthy has been ruled in for Monday’s contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Worthy had previously been questionable due to an ankle injury.
Worthy was listed as a full participant in each of the Chiefs’ three practice sessions this week. He returned last week after missing the previous two contests due to a shoulder injury suffered in Week 1.
In the two games he has played this season, Worthy has managed five catches for 83 yards. He figures to be the Chiefs’ top pass catcher this season.
Worthy is coming off of a rookie year in which he finished second on the team in receiving with 59 catches for 638 yards and six touchdowns.

So far this season, Hollywood Brown leads the team with 22 catches for 209 yards and one touchdown. Tight end Travis Kelce and receiver Tyquan Thronton are tied for second with 182 yards apiece.
Kansas City enters this matchup against the Jaguars with a 2-2 record on the young season. It seems they’ve yet to unleash their full offensive firepower and hopefully we can get a glimpse at that tonight.
The Chiefs are coming off of a 37-20 against the Baltimore Ravens last week. Kickoff between the Chiefs and Jaguars is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Monday.
