Primary11/15/21Thinly built defensive back with the technical savvy to play multiple spots in the secondary. High-end quickness is supplemented by his ability to process the game quickly. Has the cover skills to play at corner, nickel or safety. Plays with an edgy confidence and physicality. Doesn’t back down from a challenge and throws his body around as a tackler. Tested against top competition in South Florida. Will need to continue adding mass to his frame at the next level and lacks verified speed and athleticism.
Earl Little Jr. faces off against IMG Academy
8/20/21Earl Little Jr. and American Heritage took on IMG Academy in their first game of the season. Little primarily lined up in the slot and had nice coverage on a downfield route in the second half. He is a physical player who isn’t afraid to throw his body around. Little was on the wrong end of a collision with IMG running back Kaytron Allen in the first half. With that said, the mentality is still encouraging to see.
Earl Little Jr. an On3 Outlier
8/6/21Earl Little Jr. has some of the best junior video among the loaded 2022 cornerback group. The son of former Miami and NFL defensive back Earl Little is a smooth and technically polished in coverage. The 5-foot-11.5, 175-pounder is capable of playing on the outside or in the slot and moves all around the field for Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage. He's also a physical defender when covering down on the quick passing game.
