Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy Scouting Reports

4 Reports
  1. Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy evaluation at Under Armour All-America Game

    Charles Power1/2/22

Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy was a late arrival at Under Armour. We only got to see him practice on one day and a bit during the game. The Texas A&M signee has a filled-out, compact but not short build with long arms. The defensive line group at Under Armour was very deep and he passed the eye test in our brief exposure.

  2. Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy Scouting Summary

    Primary
    Charles Power10/26/21

Perhaps the most athletic and twitchy defensive lineman in several cycles. Burst on to the national radar prior to his junior season after putting on a testing display at the Elite Underclassmen Camp in Jacksonville, running a 4.8-second electronically timed 40-yard dash at 278 pounds. Has quick-twitch initial movement skills with fast and strong hands. Aggressive out of his stance with the hands. Wins with both quickness and physicality. Disruptive force that makes plays behind the line of scrimmage with regularity. Was highly productive as a junior with 29.5 tackles for loss. Will be a disruptor in the run game, and interior pass rusher at the next level. Fast closer with long-arms that makes play from the hash to the boundary. Plays defensive end in both four and three-man fronts for Lakeland High, but projects to the interior long-term.

  3. Brownlow-Dindy shows upside against Lake Wales

    Charles Power9/10/21

Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy impressed on Friday with his Lakeland (Fla.) team taking on nearby Lake Wales. The 6-foot-3, 280-pound defensive tackle is certainly one of the more athletic prospects nationally. We saw that transfer over to the field on Friday. Brownlow-Dindy combines that elite twitch with outstanding length. He primarily lined up at defensive end and was able to make a handful of impressive plays behind the line and in pursuit.

  4. Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy rated as a 5-star in initial On300

    Charles Power8/1/21

Brownlow-Dindy is among the twitchiest defensive line prospects we’ve seen in a few years. He’s truly an elite athlete for the position. During the spring he ran an electronic 4.85-second time in the 40-yard dash at 6-foot-2.5 and 280-plus pounds. The Lakeland (Fla.) High standout also had one of the better vertical jumps at an Under Armour camp stop this year. That athleticism transfers over to the field, where he turns in five-star production. Brownlow-Dindy finished 2020 with 29.5 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks. He’s an attacking presence along the defensive line and capable of creating disruption from multiple spots.
