Jalen Hale a top performer at Under Armour All-America Game week
1/3/23Jalen Hale was the most consistent outside receiver over the course of the week at Under Armour. The Alabama signee showed a nuanced skill set. Hale has a strong release package, with the ability to stack defensive backs off the line. He also showed some wiggle and fluidity at the top of his routes. We saw this on Day Two when Hale ran past Five-Star Plus+ cornerback Cormani McClain relatively easily. Hale took his game to another level on Day Three, earning Top Performer status with a strong display of coordination and route-running to go with the ability to track and high-point the football. He’ll need to continue adding strength, but Hale turned in an impressive showing in Orlando.
Jalen Hale turns in solid showing at Under Armour Future 50
7/16/22Wide receiver Jalen Hale had a ho-hum morning session at Under Armour Future 50 but was among the more productive wideouts, in 7-on-7, snagging three touchdowns. Two of the scores came against zone coverage. Hale was able to find cracks in the zone and work his way open in the end zone.

Primary7/4/22Smooth, coordinated receiver who stars for one of the top high school programs in Texas. Excels at the catch point. Was the first freshman to start on varsity back in 2019 for East Texas powerhouse Longview High since the early 2000’s. Checks in at 6-foot-0.5, 185 pounds with a 32.5 inch arm, giving him plus length for the position. Does much of his damage out of the slot at Longview. Has natural explosion and ability to go up and high point the football. Showed continued improvement as a route-runner over the course of his high school career. Looked like one of the best route-runners in the cycle at the Under Armour All-America Game. Showed a refined release package, with the ability to stack corners off of the line. Draws on his basketball background, using a quick crossover off the line. Totaled 45 catches for 936 yards and 14 touchdowns in his senior season. Has a thinner build and will need to add strength and mass to aid in finishing at the catch point and in running through contact after the catch.
