Joshua Burnham evaluation at All-American Bowl
1/8/22Notre Dame signee Joshua Burnham had some nice moments at the All-American Bowl. Burnham is not as developed as a linebacker as some others, which makes sense given he’s been a two-way player at the high school level. Still, we liked his combination of size and movement skills.

Primary12/10/21Mutli-positional jumbo athlete with functional athleticism and versatile playmaking ability. Has a big frame, at a listed 6-foot-4, 225 pounds. Lines up at quarterback and linebacker for his high school. Primarily used as a rushing, quarterback running off of power concepts. A prolific rusher at the high school level, running for over 1,500 yards and 29 touchdowns as a senior. Moves well for his size with good, not great top end speed. Also shows some versatility at linebacker, with the ability to stack and shed as a run defender, blitz off the edge and drop into space. Does not play overly strong competition.
Joshua Burnham named Michigan's Gatorade Player of the Year
12/7/21Joshua Burnham was named Michigan's Gatorade player of the year as a senior. The Notre Dame pledge played both ways for his Traverse City team as a quarterback and linebacker. He rushed 200 times for 1516 yards and 29 touchdowns while completing 49 of 98 passes for 14 more scores. On defense, Burnham accounted for 102 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and two interceptions.
