Dillon (South Carolina) High School coach Kelvin Roller believes Josiah Thompson – who has earned MaxPreps All-American honors – has a bright future ahead. “We had a lot of Division I caliber players get recruited by schools in the Southeast, but I am not sure Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Oklahoma have been to Dillon over the years,” Kelvin Roller told The State. “I think he has the opportunity to be paid to play ball one day. He is such a good kid and is very coachable, wants to be good, loves football. Anything we give him to work on, he does it. His length and his ability to move his feet are special. You won’t find too many left tackle prospects that could move as he can move, so he is special in that regard.” Thompson also plays on the Dillon basketball squad.
