Mac Markway missed his junior season with a knee injury, but he is expected to return to the field as a senior for one of the top high school football programs in the Show-Me State. His father is former Iowa Hawkeye tight end Matt Markway. His mother is Trisha Markway. Because of COVID, Markway was only able to play in four games as a sophomore. But in his freshman season, he was named a MaxPreps All-American after averaging 12 yards a reception. He also excelled as a run blocker with his “kill shots” after pulling from his H-back, wideout and even slotback position.
