Hausen discussed Villanova in a previous interview with On3.
“Obviously, you have a Hall of Fame coach, Jay Wright,” Brendan Hausen said. “The staff there is incredible. Just the culture there too… they think I can come in and be a great culture guy for them. A guy that can come in and play big minutes because I can spread the floor so well and shoot it. But also if you look at the guys, Collin Gillespie, Ryan Arcidiacono, guys like that, that have strived there. They think I can come in and be a guy like that.”
Villanova prioritized Hausen, as he was the one and only shooting guard they offered in the 2022 class. Hausen joins fellow four-star Mark Armstrong. The Wildcats have their eye on one final prospect, Cam Whitmore, who’s expected to decide in the near future.
