Four-star safety Jakarrion Kenan announces for Clemson
Clinton (NC) Marlboro County four-star safety Jakarrion Kenan announced his commitment to Clemson Wednesday during the first day of the Early Signing Period.
The 6-foot, 180-pound Kenan chose the Tigers over his other finalists in Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Virginia and NC State.
“I chose them because I know the history of Dabo Swinney and Clemson football,” Kenan told On3. “The coaching staff is huge on family and relationships.

Kenan joins a Clemson recruiting class that is one of the tops in the ACC. On3 tabs Kenan as the No. 28 safety in the country and No. 9 overall prospect in North Carolina.
In seven games as a senior Kenan had 29 tackles, an interception and three forced fumbles. He’s picked off seven passes on Friday nights.
