North Carolina LB commit Anthony Kruah visiting Georgia again this weekend
Georgia has its eyes on multiple in-state flip targets as it looks to round out another top-five recruiting class.
One of those top targets is Marietta (Ga.) three-star linebacker Anthony Kruah. Committed to North Carolina since April, Kruah picked up an offer from UGA in May and logged an official visit in the summer.
He returned to Athens last weekend and is now back at Sanford Stadium on Saturday as the Dawgs take on Mississippi State:
When speaking with On3ās Steve Wiltfong last weekend, Kruah noted that he will come to a final decision in December and isnāt ruling out UGA. Returning to Athens so quickly for another game visit certainly bodes well for Kirby Smart and Co.
āI know my opportunity with them but still got some thinking to do,ā Kruah said.
āWhatās next for me is just making that decision in December. Both are great schools and I know Iāll have to work for what I deserve. UGA has always been in my top three since the offer but I made a hard commitment in April with UNC.ā
Kruah is one of the five highest-ranked commits in UNCās 2025 class, as of Oct. 12. The Tar Heelsā class ranks No. 36 in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Georgiaās 2025 class ā which ranks No. 5 in the nation ā currently features just one linebacker commitment, though itās a big one in Ellaville (Ga.) Schley County five-star Zayden Walker. The top-ranked LB in the nation, Walker is one of three five-stars in the mix for Smart and the UGA staff.
āIt felt like home,ā Walker told On3 upon making his decision public. āI made my decision to commit to Georgia over the weekend when I was on my official visit. I had been close to committing before, but that was the right time. My family was there, I knew that is where I wanted to go and I made my decision.ā
Walker is also in Athens this weekend, helping headline a massive visitor list. The likes of Five-Star Plus+ defensive lineman Elijah Griffin and Alabama five-star cornerback commit Dijon Lee are also in attendance.
