South Carolina a top school for a couple more weekend visitors
Swainsboro (Ga.) High Rivals300 2027 linebacker Ja’Bios Smith was one of the top prospects at South Carolina over the weekend.
The four-star prospect feels very comfortable in Columbia.
“They’ve been recruiting me the longest,” Smith said. “I just feel comfortable talking with Coach Beamer, Coach White and Coach Dru. It all just comes natural.

The Rivals Industry tabs Smith as the nation’s No. 5 linebacker and No. 110 prospect overall.
Saint Pauls (NC) High defensive lineman Antwan McKoy is another South Carolina is doing very well with early in the process.
“It was a great experience and being able to come to a game in real life instead of watching it on TV or playing the video game felt unreal,” McKoy said.. “I enjoyed the food and getting to see the crowd interact with the game with their chants was really cool!”
