Syracuse lands commitment from touted CB Chase Geter
Ashburn (Ga.) Stone Bridge cornerback Chase Geter announced his commitment to Syracuse on Sunday.
The 6-foot, 180-pound Geter chose the Orange over his other top schools in Duke, Michigan, Virginia and Wisconsin.
Geter becomes commit No. 22 for head coach Fran Brown and his staff in the 2026 cycle.
“Fran Brown was real throughout the process and I want to be coached by one of the best in my position,” Geter said.

Geter took his official visit to the Syracuse campus the weekend of June 13.
“How real the staff is and the opportunity to have a chance to play early,” Geter said of what else made the Orange program right for him.
Syracuse also had what Geter was looking for off the field.
“Syracuse is known for they’re IT and I was planning to major in that field,” Geter said.
On3 tabs Geter as the No. 54 cornerback in the country. As a junior he registered 60 tackles, 10 pass breakups and two interceptions.
