Top 2026 recruit Olivia Jones has committed to the Vanderbilt Commodores. She chose Vanderbilt over Miami, according to sources.
There were several factors that 5-11 guard Jones noted as important in a previous conversation with Rivals.

“Definitely how the coaches act in person and how the players speak about them,” she said. “Do they look like they have a good relationship? I need a home away from home, especially since I’m going to be there for hopefully four years. I’m looking to see what they’re like and just like the overall campus – am I going to see myself liking it outside of basketball? I’m looking for good academics and the things that can prepare me outside of basketball, too.”
Vanderbilt is getting a phenomenal scoring threat in Jones, but also a great teammate.
“I would say I’m a good teammate first before anything,” Jones told Rivals. “I’m really good with picking my teammates up. I would say, I’m also a good attack driver. I get good open shots and I also look for my teammates as well.”
