Displays good velocity and generates quality RPMs on intermediate throws in the camp setting. Delivers accurate passes over the middle and into tight windows with good rhythm and balance in his drops. Shows solid downfield arm strength and the ability to layer throws with touch. Plays with toughness, standing in to deliver while absorbing contact. Comfortable throwing on the move and shows good mobility as a scrambler. Not a run-first quarterback but extends plays and moves the chains when needed. Shoulders a heavy workload as the focal point of an offense that lacks a consistent rushing attack. Finished his junior season completing 65.4% of his passes for 2,507 yards and 25 touchdowns with 14 interceptions. Needs to cut down on turnovers as a senior. Mechanically shows a lower release point and can benefit from smoothing and quickening his motion for greater efficiency. Encouraging physical tools, timing, and poise under pressure point to clear developmental upside. Has the frame and competitive makeup to continue progressing with college-level coaching. Profiles as a Group of Five prospect on junior tape with the potential to draw Power Four attention with offseason improvement and strong camp performances.
