Ryan Puglisi started his high school career at Lawrence Academy in Massachusetts before transferring to Connecticut powerhouse program Avon Old Farms. The transfer paid off as Puglisi further refined his game into one of the top high school quarterback prospects in the country. Avon Old Farms coach Jon Wholley said coaches love Puglisi’s arm talent. “He has an elite ability to throw the ball from different positions,” Wholley said. “He throws a baseball 93 mph. He’s a legitimate shortstop and pitching prospect for the MLB. He has a super strong arm. He has a good temperament, he’s a hard worker, a good leader, and at 16 years old, he’s willing to get better. There are not a lot of ups and downs. He’s not influenced by things outside of football or things that happen during the game. He gets better and better every day.” Away from football, Puglisi says his favorite food is chicken pot pie. “My mom (Meagham Puglisi) makes the best,” he said. His father is Dan Puglisi.
