Whit Weeks Scouting Reports

4 Reports
  1. Whit Weeks a top performer at All-American Bowl week

    Charles Power1/7/23

Whit Weeks had a breakout showing at the All-American Bowl. The Georgia native was the top cover linebacker over the course of the week, looking extremely comfortable while working in space. Weeks consistently locked up pass catchers during the 1-on-1 and 7-on-7 periods, resulting in multiple pass breakups. He also made his presence felt during team periods, showing strong instincts in fitting the run. This carried over to Saturday’s game, where Weeks led the East team in tackles with five, while also notching a tackle for loss and recovering a fumble. The range and all-around ability stood out over the entire week and in every setting.

  2. Whit Weeks makes big plays in rivalry game

    Charles Power8/27/22

Whit Weeks made a ton of plays in Watkinsville (Ga.) Oconee County’s 33-9 win over Athens (Ga.) Clarke Central. The LSU pledge made big plays in all three phases. He finished with 106 yards and two touchdowns from scrimmage. On defense, Weeks registered 12 tackles, three tackles for loss, a sack and two pass breakups on defense. To cap things off, the 6-foot-2, 205-pounder returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown. As the stat line and usage would indicate, Weeks is a high effort player with a versatile array of versatile skills. He plays fast on both sides of the ball and is advanced with his ability to diagnose and make plays on defense.

  3. Whit Weeks moves into On300

    Charles Power8/3/22

Whit Weeks was a new addition to the On300. The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder is a productive and instinctive linebacker, totaling over 130 tackles as a junior at Watkinsville (Ga.) Oconee County. We also see Weeks make plays on offense, both as a rusher and pass catcher. Weeks’ play speed and ability to consistently affect the game in a multitude of ways stood out as we were re-evaluating the linebacker group.

  4. Whit Weeks Scouting Summary

    Primary
    Cody Bellaire7/20/22

Ultra-productive off-ball backer that plays as if he knows where the ball is going before it is even snapped. Extremely physical and willing to stick his head into traffic when coming downhill. Solid frame that should fill out nicely. Stands at just over 6-foot-2, 200 pounds. See the bend and hip looseness while working at receiver on the offensive side of the ball. Lacks ideal explosiveness and long speed to get sideline to sideline at the next level. Ran 12.21 in the 100m and jumped a 5-foot-6 high jump during his sophomore track and field season. Plays lacrosse as well. High floor player who will always be around the football. Need to see him develop some twitch and long speed in order to see his name on NFL draft boards.
