Four-star infielder Reese Grudzielanek commits to Oregon
The Ducks are flying high in the 2027 recruiting rankings. Reese Grudzielanek, Softball America’s 17th overall prospect and second-ranked middle infielder, announced her commitment to Oregon after a visit to Eugene this past weekend.
“Oregon felt like home—the atmosphere is unmatched, the coaching staff is incredible, and it instantly felt like where I belong. I knew this was where I wanted to grow, both on and off the field,” she said.

Grudzielanek is a slick fielding middle infielder with soft hands, good feet, and an elite skill set. She is a true utility player, possessing great range in the outfield as well. She has the unique combination of power and speed. Her bat has the chance to contribute early in her career.
The Iowa Premier star picked Oregon over Georgia, Virginia Tech and Northwestern. Her verbal has lifted Oregon into the top five of the Softball America Team Rankings.
