No. 14 2027 recruit Ivy Burnham headed to Stanford
The Cardinal are setting a strong foundation for its 2027 class. Ivy Burnham, Softball America’s No. 14 overall recruit and second-ranked outfielder, made her commitment to Stanford on Wednesday evening.
“With its incredible coaching staff, world-class academics, and championship culture, Stanford immediately stood out to me,” Burnham said. “I want a place that will challenge me as a softball player and as a student. It also doesn’t hurt that it has the most beautiful campus. I can’t wait to set foot on the Farm.”

Burnham comes from the storied Corona Angels organization and St. Anthony in Long Beach. She has great range in the outfield, an elite arm with the ability to throw runners out and exceptional power at the plate. She can drive the ball for power to all fields, land her barrel on multiple planes and has the potential to be a significant RBI contributor at the next level.
Jessica Allister continues to show that she is able to land top-tier talents despite the rigorous academic requirements for Stanford as we slowly watch softball catch up with the other powerhouse women’s sports on the Farm.
