Taylor Pannell strengthens Texas A&M bullpen
The bullpen in College Station just got better with the NCAA Division I current active career saves leader. Left-handed pitcher Taylor Pannell has committed to Texas A&M.
Pannell, who has one year left of eligibility, has primarily been a closer in her career. In 2024, she matched the NCAA single-season saves record with 15. Pannell has made 84 career appearances, with all but seven coming from the bullpen. However, the Leeās Summit, Mo. native did make seven starts this past season, throwing three complete games and a career-high 73.2 innings, which was more than her combined freshman and sophomore inning total.
āI chose A&M because of the environment and the coaching staff,ā Pannell said. āThe culture that program has is amazing and I want to be a part of something really special thatās going to be happening at A&M this year. No place Iād rather be to end my career, and Iām excited to get to work.ā
