Top-ranked outfielder Finlee Williams commits to Oklahoma
Oklahoma is on its way to another historic class. After adding two of Softball America’s top 11 prospects in 2027 rankings, Goose Hutchens (No. 2) and Riley Hilliard (No. 11), top-ranked outfielder Finlee Williams announced her commitment to the Sooners on Tuesday.
“OU just felt like home. I always heard when you know, you know and when I left I knew it was the place for me,” Williams said. “The coaches are amazing, and the vibe is all about pushing each other to be the best. I’m so pumped to play for the GOAT of softball—she’s a legend! OU fully supports women’s sports, especially softball, and it’s a place that’s totally different from anywhere else. I’m beyond excited for this opportunity!”
Williams, who is part of the talented Texas Glory travel organization and the powerhouse Melissa High School softball program, also visited Texas Tech and LSU, while having strong interest from Texas and Arkansas.
