BREAKING: Auburn adds Florida OT Mason Mathis to 2026 signing class
Auburn on the last day of the early signing period has added a USF OL commitment to its 2026 recruiting class.
Pace (Fla.) offensive tackle Mason Mathis, who has been committed to USF since June, flipped his commitment and has signed with Auburn.
Mathis is listed at 6-foot-6 and 320 pounds.
In addition to USF, Mathis held offers from Arkansas State, Army, Navy, Air Force, Jacksonville State, Southern Miss and South Alabama, among others.

He is the fourth offensive lineman to sign with Auburn in the ’26 class, joining Parker Pritchett, Wilson Zierer and Mykall Lundy-Foster.
Auburn now has 18 signees in Alex Golesh’s first class. The Tigers are not expected to add anymore until the transfer portal opens Jan. 2.
