3-star TE Colton Heinrich officially signs with Georgia
Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) three-star tight end Colton Heinrich’s commitment to Georgia is official. Heinrich signed his national letter of intent to Georgia on Wednesday.
Wednesday marks National Signing Day and the opening of the Early Signing Period. Heinrich committed to Georgia back on May 22.
He is joining the Bulldogs as a part of a tight-end duo. Four-star Jaden Reddell is also signing in the class of 2024.
Heinrich spoke highly of Georgia’s culture and the competition level in Athens when talking to On3’s Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons earlier this fall.

“We are the best of the best at Georgia,” Heinrich told On3 back on Sept. 7. “We are back-to-back national champions. Everyone there is there for the same reason – to run it back and be the best team in the country. It is going to be exciting to get up there, get in that environment and compete.”
Heinrich has already moved to Athens and is taking part in bowl practices ahead of Georgia’s match-up with Florida State in the Orange Bowl.
