Hawkeyes land four-star PF Chris Tadjo
The Iowa Hawkeyes landed a verbal commitment from four-star power forward Chris Tadjo on Friday night. The 6-foot-8, 230-pound Tadjo, who is originally from Montreal, is currently part of NBA Academy Latin America. This past weekend, he made an official visit to Iowa City, which led to the announcement tonight.
Ranked No. 66 overall in the Class of 2024 by On3 Sports, Tadjo is known as one of the top rebounders in his recruiting class. Here is a scouting report from On3 basketball analyst Jamie Shaw this past summer.

The skinny: The two things that are hard not to notice when watching Chris Tadjo are his frame and his motor/explosion. Tadjo is a lengthy and quite strong, 6-foot-8 forward who plays with a see-the-ball and get-the-ball mentality. Tadjo is originally from Canada, and he has been playing with the NBA Academy Latin American team for two years. Olivier-Maxence Prosper, Bennedict Mathurin, and Oumar Ballo are past players this academy has produced. He has a unique blend of explosion and fluidity. Each time I have seen him play live, the production has simply been off the charts.
Tadjo is Iowa’s second top 100 commit in the Class of 2024 as he joins Cooper Koch, who currently checks in at No. 92 in the On3 rankings.
