Hayden Large embraces fullback role
When starting fullback Eli Miller went down with an ACL injury, the Iowa coaching staff asked walk-on tight end transfer Hayden Large if he would be interested in making the move. For Large, it was an easy decision as he is looking to help the team in any way that he can after transferring from Dordt this past January.
Now, Large has immersed himself in the role as he gets ready for the 2023 season and may bring a little different dynamic to the position as a 6-foot-5 former tight end with good receiving skills.
