How to watch: LSU vs. Alabama
After a bye week, LSU now gets ready to play its biggest game of the regular season against No. 6 Alabama. For the second year in a row, this will be the primetime game on ESPN, rather than the SEC on CBS game of the week. Kickoff is set for 6:10 p.m. CT on ESPN.
Coming out of the bye week, LSU will look to continue its momentum from its last two SEC wins. According to Brian Kelly, the bye week was a good opportunity for the team to get a rest before heading into the final stretch of the season.
“I think after four straight SEC games, I think it hit at the right time, you know, where the guys need a bit of a reset mentally and physically,” Kelly said.
LSU ready for the challenge of facing Alabama
When speaking to the media this week, Kelly talked about the challenges of facing Alabama. Despite those challenges, though, Kelly says the team is prepared and focus on what they need to do in this game.

“They’re excited, and I don’t mean anxious in terms of nervous. I think they’re excited about playing Alabama. I think there’s a lot of respect for them. They know they’re really good football team,” Kelly said,
“Our guys are so much more focused on what they need to do and how they need to play more than, you know, any form of relationships that they’ve had with players to be quite frank,” Kelly said. “And I’m sure Coach Saban is the same way. This is much more about being in the right emotional zone when you play the game, and being locked in and focused. So our guys hear that from me all the time. And I’m pretty certain that that’s how it’s going to be played.
