UNC Flips TE Dream Rashad from Purdue
Reminiscent of Signing Days past, North Carolina completed the flip of Dream Rashad. Despite his Purdue commitment, the mid–three-star tight end signed with the Tar Heels on Wednesday.
Rashad — a 6-foot-7, 235-pounder from Buford (Ga.) High — originally committed to Purdue in June, choosing the Boilermakers over Florida Atlantic, Marshall, South Florida, and UNLV.

In late October, UNC offered Rashad, prompting him to schedule an official visit to Chapel Hill for the Tar Heels’ home finale.
A former quarterback, Rashad finished second on his team in receiving with 16 catches for 285 yards and three touchdowns. The undefeated Wolves will face Valdosta on Friday in the GHSA 6A Championship.
Rashad’s brother, Seven, is a 2027 wide receiver who committed to Purdue in August.
Fellow high school tight end Carson Sneed also is signing with the Tar Heels on Wednesday.
