UNC To Face Georgia In Home-And-Home Basketball Series
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The Tar Heels are set to meet with a set SEC opponent twice over the next three seasons. North Carolina and Georgia will play in a home-and-home series in 2026 and 2028, Georgia announced on Tuesday in a release.
UNC will host the Bulldogs in the Smith Center next season on Nov. 13, and in 2028, the Tar Heels will head to Athens to play Georgia in Stegeman Coliseum. That game will be played in either November or December 2028, according to the release.
UNC is 13-5 all-time against Georgia. The two teams last faced in Nov. 1998, a 65-58 UNC victory.
Georgia joins a 2026-27 non-conference slate for UNC that also includes games at Georgetown and home against Butler.
