Ducks Add In-State Walk-On Quarterback
Late Sunday night some news snuck in under the wire. Oregon added a new verbal commitment from an in-state quarterback.
North Salem (Ore.) quarterback T.C. Manumaleuna announced his decision to commit to Oregon. The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder is a class of 2024 quarterback. He is expected to walk on at Oregon after his mission. The mission is expected to be a full two year mission. Which would ultimately qualify him as a 2026 recruit.
Manumaleuna has visited Oregon multiple times including the Spring game and Saturday Night Live.
The Ducks have two quarterbacks committed in the 2024 class already. Luke Moga was first then joined by Michael Van Buren as two scholarship quarterbacks in this cycle.

The commitment is not binding however. As noted it’s only a verbal commitment. Additionally following the time of his expected mission, Manumaleuna would have the option to enroll at another school if he chose to.
We will track his senior season at North Salem as Manumaleuna is considered one of the top quarterbacks in the state of Oregon.
